August - Illustration Commission

I'm currently working on commission samples for a children's book publisher.  Most of the brief is under wraps, but the samples requested were for a "6 year old quirky girl", a "friendly but noble donkey" and a "vintage space station".
I am still using my network of CG friends and colleagues for regular feedback, which is invaluable to the reworking process.

My first set of submissions:

The publishing team felt that the space station needed brightening.  The spec for the girl has changed considerably so I am currently reworking her.  They all liked the donkey!
