Character wk 1 - sketches
I really enjoyed this session! I had to draw a "gangster robot". I've never drawn either before - I tend to avoid angles and draw organic shapes instead so this was a challenge. Justin labelled the style as "cute" and asked me to draw a nasty-looking futuristic football hooligan. I try to draw a sketch a day, usually from life, but this week I have tried to step out of the box a little. These images are based on characters in my son's White Dwarf magazine and Cartoon Network magazine - I needed the reference material!
